PASTOR DION EVANS SENIOR PASTOR I am Dion Evans, also known as PD and, by my wife only – Honeyman. I am married to Leticia and we have one gifted daughter, Daysia and a son on the way, Seth. I was born in the month of August. My favorite scripture has become Philippians 4:4. My #1 passion for ministry is for Christians to be intelligent as to what they believe and how they practice the faith. My greatest accomplishment, outside salvation, was sharing with my daughter her beginnings in life and how she is a gift to me and has been loved from day one. The #1 thing I want people to know about me is that I truly believe that truth is not a choice and all choices have consequences. The last book I read was THE FIVE LOVE LANGUAGES FOR CHILDREN, by Gary Chapman. My favorite cartoon character is The BRAIN, from Pinky and the Brain. I like him because he spends his entire existent plotting on how to ‘take over the world.’ I want to help take over the world for Christ! My favorite movie is AMISTAD. A person should consider being a member of CVCC only if they are led by God and ready to for lifelong application of God’s Word with accountability and transparency. PASTOR JOSEPH GILL PASTOR OF MINISTRIES I am Pastor Joseph Gill, better known as PG-30 at CVCC. I am married to Pamela and we have two children and two grandchildren. I was born in the month of February. My favorite scripture is Matthew 9:35-38. My #1 passion for ministry is the love in my heart God has given me for HIS people. My desire is to help the people of God grow into the likeness of Christ. My greatest accomplishment in life, outside salvation, is when I found my wife and God blessed us with children. A close second is my calling to preach the gospel. The #1 thing I want people to know about me is that I care about them and that I am there for them. The last book I read completely was MORE THAN A CARPENTER by Josh McDowell. A person should consider becoming a member of Chosen Vessels Christian Church because CVCC is a bible teaching church where people can come and learn the Word of God. People are loved and cared for by the membership. New members become a part of a real family, the family of God. PASTOR HENRY BENS PASTOR OF PURIFY MINISTRIES I am Henry Bens, also known by family as JuneBug. I am married to Leigh and we are blessed with a beautiful daughter named Zoey. I was born in the month of December. My favorite scripture is 1 Peter 3:15. My #1 passion for ministry is to radically be involved in the ministry of reconciliation and equipping God’s people for the ministry of reconciliation. I believe every believer has this ministry and I have been gifted to encourage and challenge the people of God to help me “Turn the world upside down” for the LORD Jesus Christ. My greatest accomplishment, outside salvation, is being married to my beautiful and loving wife – Leigh. The #1 thing I want people to know about me is that I hold Christian Faith to be the only true faith and all others are merely man made attempts to establish their own way of righteousness. The last book I read was HISTORICAL CRITICISM OF THE BIBLE, by Eta Linneman. My favorite cartoon character was Mighty Mouse. He was the go to guy. Everyone turned to him when all others would fail. I believe that is how we should be with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My favorite movie is COMING TO AMERICA.
