OUR LEADERS AT CHOSEN VESSELS

I am Deaconess Juanita Miller, better known by friends as Ne-Ne. I am single and have three children. I was born in the month of February. My favorite scripture is 1 John 5:4,5. My #1 passion for ministry is to glorify God in all that I do – so that I may inspire someone else to live a fulfilling and fruit bearing life for God’s Kingdom. My greatest accomplishment, outside salvation, is being married to one husband, who is now deceased, and raising 3 sons and 2 granddaughters. The #1 thing I want people to know about me is that I love people. The last book I read completely was BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND by Joyce Meyer. My favorite cartoon character is Wylie Coyote because of his persistence. No matter how many times his schemes failed to catch the roadrunner, he never gave up the hope he would one day succeed. My favorite movie is THE COLOR PURPLE. A person should consider becoming a member of Chosen Vessels Christian Church because the pastoral staff is great and the Word of God is never compromised. What I also like about CVCC is the fellowship and love among the membership. We are a spirit-filled church led by God.

I am Sharron Malone, better known family as Hummingbird. I am married to Deacon Floyd Malone and we have one adult daughter. I was born in springtime in the month of March. My favorite scripture is Romans 6:22, 23. My #1 passion for ministry is for the people whose hearts have been damaged, their hurt is one not explained but honestly felt and buried. My passion is both for people in church and outside the church, to minister to those “unspeakable” situations and show that God’s love will “heal the heart” and forgive all sins. My greatest accomplishments, outside salvation, are that the LORD allowed me to become a Deaconess at CVCC, Floyd’s wife, and Monique’s mother. The #1 thing I want people to know about me is that praising and honoring our LORD Jesus Christ in worship is equal to the blood in my veins. I have to and need to thank HIM to express gratitude and love. The last book I read was FIFTY REASONS WHY JESUS CAME TO DIE, by John Piper. My favorite cartoon character is Jerry the mouse in TOM & JERRY. I love the earlier 1950’s of Hanna & Barbera. Jerry was small but still noticeable, yet crafty with a hint of nuisance. My favorite movie is POWDER – from 1995 about an albino boy. A person should consider being a member of CVCC for two distinct reasons – one, being obedient to God’s direction in their life, and two, the teaching of the Word of God.

I am Candace Troutt and do not have a nickname. I am married to Clemos Troutt Sr. and together we have three children. I was born in the month of September. I do not have a favorite scripture, but my #1 passion for ministry is Christ. I want to be in place for HIM, ready to affect the lives HE is in love with. My greatest accomplishment, outside salvation, is being in God’s will with my lifestyle to receive the gift that is my husband. The #1 thing I want people to know about me is just because I am not smiling doesn’t mean I’m upset – usually I’m just in deep thought, but you can still speak to me. The last book I read was PIXEL’S ADVENTURE to my son. My favorite cartoon character is the TASMANIAN DEVIL. He is my favorite due to me wanting to be different because everyone else loved TWEETY. I do not have a favorite movie but my favorite movie genre is espionage. A person should consider being a member of CVCC because Chosen is a place for you to be honest about everything and ask questions about anything. You will receive the truth of God’s Word and application for your life.

I am Nyasha Boyette, better known as Ny-Ny or Sister Ny. I am single and have no children. I was born in the month of July. My favorite scripture is Romans 5:1-10. My #1 passion for ministry is to radically advance the Kingdom of God by teaching our youth and watching them grow towards applying God’s truth to their lives. My greatest accomplishment, outside salvation, is being honored by CVCC at our 1st Annual Gratitude Awards Ceremony by receiving 5 awards for my work unto the LORD. The #1 thing I want people to know about me is that through all my fun, silliness, goofiness and loving spirit – I am very serious about God’s Word and learning to live it out. The last book I read completely was THE COLDEST WINTER EVER. My favorite cartoon character is Curious George because I love monkeys! My favorite movie is CRASH. A person should consider becoming a member of Chosen Vessels Christian Church because the church directly teaches the Word of God to the point were we’re not only held accountable but we learn how to edify in love and apply God’s Word to our daily lives. In essence, we are learning how to live right!

I am Leticia Evans, better known as Cia, Spice, Letievans, Lettuce, Teesha Gamchee, and Lettie Poppins. I am married to Pastor Dion Evans and we have one very gifted daughter, Daysia, and a son, Seth. I was born in the month of April. My favorite scriptures are James 1:2-8 and Ephesians 6:11-18. My #1 passion for ministry is to be effective in the lives of others for Christ. Living out unity, providing others with grace, and using God’s Word as the measure for edifying, rebuking/correction, and resolving conflict are essential abilities I would like for each woman to really grasp. My greatest accomplishment, outside salvation, is being a wife and mother. Growing up, even into my early twenties, I did not believe I would ever be either. I am grateful to God HE provided me both of these offices. The #1 thing I want people to know about me is that I am not perfect…I desire to be completely available to God for HIS purposes, obedient to His Word, and able to show His truths lived out in my life. However, I still do falter and make mistakes…so continue in prayer for me as I continue to be conformed more into the likeness of Christ. The last book I read completely was THE CASE FOR CHRIST, by Lee Strobel. My favorite cartoon character was the wife on The Jetsons. She could cook dinner and get dressed with the push of a button! There was also a helmet that she could cover her head with and in a matter of minutes she’d have a fresh new hairstyle, no hassles! My favorite movies are always related to dance, especially ballet, like CENTER STAGE and THE COMPANY. A person should consider becoming a member of Chosen Vessels Christian Church because of two reasons – One, it teaches the Word of God and the need for its daily application and
Two, the transparency of it people is unmatched, which includes its pastoral team.

I am Y’Vonne McCall, better known as Vonne. I am single and have one child, but have raised 5 children as my own. I was born in the month of June. My favorite scripture is 1 Peter 2:9,10. My #1 passion for ministry is the gift to encourage and teach. My greatest accomplishment, outside salvation, is the relationship I have with my mother and daughter. The #1 thing I want people to know about me is that I love God and HIS people. The last book I read completely was UNVEILING THE DIVA MYSTIQUE by Michelle McKinney Hammond. My favorite cartoon character is Kim Possible because she can do anything. My favorite movies are WHERE THE HEART IS and THE INCREDIBLES. A person should consider becoming a member of Chosen Vessels Christian Church because of the WORD! If you want to be taught the Word and learn to live a life of victory in the LORD – CVCC is the place! We also have wonderful, loving members and the transparency with accountability is on point!

I am Sylvester Brooks, also known as Bouvier. I am single and born in the month of March. My favorite scripture is John 3:16. My #1 passion for ministry is to teach God’s Word. My greatest accomplishment, outside salvation, is getting off drugs and alcohol. The #1 thing I want people to know about me is that I’m a child of God and I’m a human being who is willing to help anybody. My favorite cartoon character is SUPERMAN because I always thought that he could never die. I do not have one favorite movie, but I do like all good movies. A person should consider being a member of CVCC if they want to be taught the Word of God and be loved on by God and CVCC members.

I am April Saali and I have a beautiful and intelligent daughter named Diane. I was born in the month of March. My favorite scripture is Psalm 119:73. My greatest accomplishments, outside salvation would be having my daughter Diane. Along with passing the Real Estate exam on my first try to become a Realtor. Then finding CVCC and making it my church home. The #1 things I want people to know about me is that I am down to earth, open minded, outgoing and that I treat people the way I would want to be treated back....with Respect. My favorite movie is RATATOUILLE. The rat in the movie doesn't let obstacles in his life stop him from reaching his dreams. My favorite book is the Bible that I am looking forward to really understanding and sharing my knowlege as I progress to others that wish to know the word of GOD. I feel that a person should consider being a member of CVCC if they are ready to hear the true word of God and walk the path of rightousness. Plus, the people here at CVCC are amazing and make you feel like you are part of the church family.
