WHAT CVCC BELIEVES

Chosen Vessels Christian Church’s belief concerning the Holy Scriptures can be summed up with the word D.A.R.I.N.G. CVCC believes the Holy Scriptures are DIVINELY INSPIRED. We believe the Scriptures stand in their original language without error or need for correction. CVCC believes the Holy Scriptures are to AUTHORIZE ALL LIFE. We believe that mankind’s only hope for proper lifestyle and behavior is the Scriptures. CVCC believes the Holy Scriptures REMAIN RELEVANT AND TRUE. We believe that history does not outdate the Scriptures. CVCC believes the Holy Scriptures are INSPIRED BY GOD. We believe as the Scriptures teaches that all Scripture is God-breathed (inspired). CVCC believes the Holy Scriptures are NECESSARY TO KNOW ONE’S PURPOSE. We believe purpose for one’s life is found in the Scriptures and all other books fail in comparison. CVCC believes the Holy Scriptures are GOD’S WORDS TO MANKIND. We believe God has spoken via HIS Scriptures to all mankind in all generations and in all places.

WHAT CVCC AFFIRMS

1. The original manuscripts of Scripture are without error. The bible is God's holy word making it the authoritative standard for all men, women and children in all places for all times.

2. That Jesus Christ, the Messiah and only way to God, literally died for all the wrongs of mankind and arose in bodily form from the dead; ensuring mankind's relations with God.

3. That there is only one God. God has presented Himself in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

4. That God Himself entered human history as a man, Jesus Christ, while remaining completely God. Jesus Christ was God in human flesh, born a Jew from the line of King David, born of a virgin and fulfilled every prophecy concerning the coming of the Messiah in the Old Testament scripture.
